Village Faire Art Festival
Each Labor Day weekend, NCAG co-sponsors an Art Festival in conjunction with the Village Faire Center where the North Coastal Art Gallery is located. NCAG artists demonstrate their art techniques and display their art for sale. The public is invited to draw from a live model and music provided by the center.
The Village Faire Art Festival registration form is generally posted on the Home page of this website 60 days before the festival. The registration form provides festival entry rules, entry forms, dates, & times
Meetings and Demos
NCAG holds monthly meetings and art demonstrations (except for August & December) See Demo Artist Page for address, map, dates, and times of demos.
These meetings are open to the public and feature an art demonstration conducted by a well-known local artist. This program is made possible in part by a Community Arts Grant from the City of Carlsbad's Cultural Arts Office.
Art on the Green
Sales have been picking up at Art on the Green with visitors and locals alike. If you would like to be part of this exclusive group of artists and have not yet been juried into the show, please contact Ann Hurd at firstname.lastname@example.org or Deb Capetz at email@example.com.
NCAG has expanded the art that can be displayed to include artistic and uniquely designed jewelry, scarves, ceramics, and glass art. These may be shown as long as they are accompanied with your work that is appropriate to hang in the North Coastal Art Gallery. Members who wish to participate must be juried into the group by the NCAG Board of Directors.
Artists have the opportunity to display their artwork every weekend throughout the year (weather permitting) on the lawn in front of the Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort, 3075 Carlsbad Blvd., Carlsbad, CA 92008. See Map
See the Art on the Green Rules on the Forms and Policies page.
Each month (except March & August), one NCAG member is a featured artist and is given a prominent space to display his/her artwork in the gallery. To qualify for featured artist, the member must have won Best of Show at one of the NCAG monthly art shows. These artists can be seen on the Featured Artists page.
