“Cameras today are so good that it is difficult to take a technically poor photo. The challenge is to find a unique subject or a familiar object or scene to photograph in a new way.
I love to find and photograph that elusive image that is gone in an instant. The kind of thing that makes most people say, “If I only had a camera with me.” Well, I do have mine with me, and more often than not, I get the shot.

An environmental research project administrator by training and an artist by choice, I believe that identical skills apply to both art and research. Research requires a creative mind and art requires technology

Vivi Anderson enjoys studying the ocean waves and has been traveling to northern California to capture the wild waves in the Big Sur area and Carmel’s famous coast in Asilomar Beach.
