Artist’s Statement

Being born in Germany I was surrounded by the Woodcut Prints of Albrecht Durer, Kathie Kollwitz, Ernst Barlach, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, and Franz Marc, just to name a few. As they did, I use special woodcut tools and shun electrical tools to stay true to the tradition. 

Artist’s Bio

Her work is exhibited in private, corporate, and public collections.  Voll’s art has been displayed in juried and solo shows, galleries, and international art exchanges. Voll received over 200 awards, including an “Award for Excellence”, Best of Show, and 1st  Place at the San Diego County Fair -Fine Art Exhibition. She works in Woodblock Prints, Pastels, and Sculptures

Previously she was President of the  Carlsbad-Oceanside Art League and is represented by their Gallery in Carlsbad. (northcostalartgallery.com) She has a Signature Status with PSA (Pastel Society of America) and was an Arts Commissioner for the City of Carlsbad.
