Artist’s Statement

As an artist, the canvas is my mouthpiece. It speaks with vibrant colors, bold strokes, and whispers my secrets, shares my passions, and expresses emotions while taunting my sensibilities to grow and flourish confidently.

Art as a component of culture reflects economic and social substrates in its design. It transmits ideas, and values inherent in every culture, and as roles change, it can reach the core of human emotion. “Art without emotion is art”.

Cheryl is a devoted arts advocate and is involved with numerous organizations representing a collaborative mission of promoting the arts on a worldwide scale. She enjoys creativity in a vairety of mediums and continues to pursue new techniques, styles and collects memories, and ideas from everything that crosses her path in life. One never knows what is in her mind as she contemplates the beauty and creatvity life offers daily. Enjoy it!
